ToggleTurn Off Your iPhone
Before you begin cleaning, turn off your iPhone to avoid any risk of electrical damage.
Use Compressed Air if You Can
One of the safest ways to remove dust and debris from the port is by using a can of compressed air. Hold your iPhone firmly and gently insert the nozzle of the compressed air into the charging port. Use short bursts of air to dislodge any particles. Be careful not to insert the nozzle too deeply or use excessive force, as this could damage the port.
Use a Toothpick for Stubborn Lint
If there are stubborn particles that compressed air couldn’t remove, you can use a soft-bristled brush or a wooden toothpick to carefully dislodge them. Be extremely gentle to avoid scratching or damaging the port. Avoid using metal objects like pins or needles, as they can scratch the contacts inside the port.
